Lily Dale is a tiny, intentional community in rural Western New York that began as a summer camp for Free Thinkers. By the turn of the 19th century, it had become a mecca for Spiritualists. Lily Dale has continuously operated a summer season of events to share mediumship, healing, and philosophy with visitors for almost 150 years. In 2018, Tiffany Hopkins moved into her Spiritualist great-great grandmother's cottage, becoming one of only 70 or so full-time residents. Tiffany has put together the ultimate inside scoop to share her beloved village with the like-minded folks of the Morbid Anatomy community. She'll introduce you to the beauty, expansive vibes, and prosaic strangeness that Lily Dale has to offer. We’ll have the entire historic Leolyn Inn to ourselves for the weekend, and will gather the best mediums, healers, and educators to provide special, private events and tours for the group.
Itinerary
Arrive Thursday, June 2 (between 2pm and 7pm) for a 7pm open healing session, or by 9pm to join our private ghost walk through the Dale.
A simple complimentary breakfast will be available in the tea room from 8-9 am each morning. On Friday at 10 am, we will have a private walking tour of the Lily Dale grounds, focusing on the natural sights and sounds. At 1 pm, we will head out as a group to a famous Stump service; in addition, there are almost a dozen others you can attend throughout the weekend. At 6 pm, we will have dinner catered by the White Inn, a local institution famous for its classic western NY food since 1863. A gallery reading by a Lily Dale medium will follow dinner.
On Saturday, we will start with a library tour at 10 am. Afterward, we’ll return to the Leolyn for a special healing sound bath. At 7 pm, those interested can attend a Spiritualist Thought Exchange at the historic Octagon Building, followed by a reception just for our group at the Sacred Grounds Coffee House.
