Here to Honor is a social enterprise with a mission to cultivate community around end-of-life learning. Our vision is that everyone feels supported in facing mortality and equipped to make informed decisions. We do this by offering death education through topical classes and workshops, and we also host social events that encourage connections while normalizing conversations around death.

Lauren Seeley is a Death & Grief Doula and Death Educator with a focus on death literacy and spiritual practice in end-of-life, death, and grief work. Her areas of interest and research span pet and human end-of-life care, LGBTQIA and Trans end-of-life care, spiritual work, ritual and ceremonial work, end-of-life memory care, and funerary and disposition practices. Lauren works at a funeral home in Brooklyn, NY, and is the facilitator for the Silent Book Club Of Death Brooklyn chapter.
