Two Headed Chick Taxidermy
This adorable piece of taxidermy art is ready for a curiosity cabinet or accent nook, to be displayed on a bookshelf, and is sure to bring a smile anywhere in your home or apartment.
No animals were harmed or killed for the sake of this taxidermy. Each chick is ethically sourced from a pet store, which sell them to feed snakes and lizards. The skin is used to make the taxidermy and the insides go back in the freezer and are served as a meal, as originally intended, just minus the fur.
This is an artificially produced two-headed chick; natural born ones, known as polycephaly (being born with two heads), are extremely rare, occurring in less than one in a million living things.
Hand made in Brooklyn by master taxidermist Amber Joliffe.
