Join Dr. Diana Walsh Pasulka, author of American Cosmic and Historian of Religions and Esoteric Traditions at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and Simone Planté, Faculty at Singularity University specializing in Artificial Intelligence, for an engaging and insightful workshop designed to introduce you to tools and techniques aimed at manifesting and enhancing your ability to achieve personal goals.
This workshop will delve into a combination of historical and ancient esoteric traditions, as well as contemporary scientific discoveries, to provide an up-to-date perspective on navigating and mitigating the negative media influences in our daily lives, replacing them with positive momentum and fulfillment.
Each session will be divided into two parts: the first hour will feature a conversation with the instructors on specific techniques and strategies, drawing from esoteric and religious traditions and contemporary scientific insights. The second hour will offer students an opportunity to workshop their goal or project, with the instructors’ providing guidance on applying the discussed strategies to their projects. Students are encouraged to maintain a journal of their progress throughout the workshop.
Class Schedule
Class One (19th July): Diana discusses her research with extraordinary and highly effective people and what she learned from them. She discusses her work with Simone. They explain deceptively simple tools that have significant effects. Examples include changing your physical environment. Selected students’ projects are featured.
Class Two (26th July): Diana discusses, with Simone, the history of religions as viewed from the framework of technologies of connection. Could monastic practices be early forms of protocols and technologies that allow us to connect to a transformative space or force? Some clichés, such as “your body is a temple,” are revisited and seen through the lens of current science. Selected student’s projects are featured.
Class Three (2nd August): Diana engages with Simone’s idea of the place beyond spacetime, based on Simone’s work in quantum computing and AI. Diana considers similar ideas about a space as conceived in different historical traditions. Selected students’s projects are featured.
Class Four (9th August; note: this will run long to accommodate student sharing) News/Media is telling us a story of cataclysm and apocalypse. This disturbing view of our current era impacts and can even exacerbate your reality. The Instructors discuss how the power of creation is in the present and how this might help one’s personal experience through these unprecedented changes, as well as within the wider community. We will feature select student’s experiences with their projects and students can choose to share their journal entries.
