This one of a kind sterling silver cross features Saint Maria, an Italian martyr and one of the youngest people to be canonized by the Catholic Church. Floral details on the stipes accent a vintage Italian Mary charm with blue enamel. The piece measures 2.5 inches by 1.5 inches and includes an 18 inch 1mm sterling silver seamed snake chain with bead accents.

About the artist: Jennifer Jones studied at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA and Polymnia di Moretti Laura in Cortona, Italy. She incorporates ancient techniques of fusing handmade chain, granulation and weaving with found objects, vintage photography and human ephemera like hair, bone and teeth. She lives in NYC and spends time in Rome, Sicily and Oaxaca.
