Adam and Eve Day of the Dead Earrings
Adam and Eve Day of the Dead Earrings
These lovely earrings are handcrafted and imported from Mexico. An asymmetrical pairing, they depict Adam and Eve after they have eaten fruit from the tree of knowledge and discover they are naked. Distraught and ashamed they try to hide behind fig leaves; the bright green foliage seems to work out as better coverage for Adam. Eve seems to peek over to see what she’s doing wrong with her outfit.
This reminder of original sin and other stories from the bible are popular decorations for Day of the Dead.
