Join The Ernest Becker Foundation (EBF) and Morbid Anatomy for a symposium honoring the work and legacy of American anthologist and death theorist Ernest Becker, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of his Pulitzer prize-winning The Denial of Death with talks by Ask a Mortician’s Caitlin Doughty, Terror Management Theory co-founder Sheldon Solomon, Mandy Benoualid and Jeremy Cohen of the TalkDeath podcast, and many more. We will explore Becker and his work, situate his ideas in his cultural and historical milieu, and examine the ways in which his research continues to be important.
