Ojo de Venado—or "Deer's Eye" amulet. In Pre-hispanic belief, the seed of the "Mucuna Pruriens" used as its base was thought to resemble the eye of a deer. Said to protect against the evil eye, it features an image of The Virgin of Guadalupe.
