In Brooklyn’s Industry City, join us for a class devoted to practical drawing techniques designed to harness inspiration from magic and alchemy. We will take our ispiration from artists Emma Kunz, who made pendulum drawings; Leonora Carrington, who created her own tarot cards; and Hilma Af Klint who executed visionary drawings. The facilitator will guide you through the practical aspects of both creating art and connecting to the spiritual realm through guided meditation, with the aim of providing you with tools enabling you to access creative and spiritual realms in a personal—and sensory—way, to support you in these turbulent times.
