Theosophy, a spiritual group founded in 1875 in New York City by its charismatic leader, Helena Blavatsky, came to have a strong presence in Southern California. Join us for a virtual walking tour of Theosophical architecture from the Krotona Colony, a once-thriving community established in Hollywood's Beachwood Canyon in 1912, touching on the history of Theosophy and introducing some of the colorful characters who created and inhabited the charming structures.
