This book was published for internal use by the Masons. It is a collection of thirty-two essays which provide a philosophical rationale for the membership levels within Freemasonry. The lectures provided a backdrop for the degrees by giving lessons in comparative religion, history, and philosophy. It is very dense, but considered to be an excellent book on comparative religion/mysticism.
